Chickadee on an Apple Branch
The chickadee is carved from basswood and textured. The bird’s feet, branch, leaves and flowers are sculpted from brass and epoxy. The composition is finished with acrylics. This carving won an honorable mention ribbon in the intermediate level at the 2006 Ward World Carving Competition in Ocean City, MD.
